Ionisers - doing so much more than just cleaning the air

Ionisers do more than clean the air.

The freshened air created by ionic air purifiers has been shown to have curiously interesting and beneficial effects on one's health, other than just providing a better indoor air quality. Over the last 50 to 60 years, investigations have found that:

Negative ions improve one's well-being, physical and mental alertness, agility and even the quality of one's sleep. All this appears to be possible by it’s ability to recreate a likeness to the refreshing air quality found in places of natural beauty, such as forests, and mountains.

Indoor surfaces are positively charged and are mostly unhealthy

One should also be aware that most surfaces within one's living space are positively charged. This has the effect of repelling positively charged particles back into the air where they can be breathed into your lungs us. By introducing negative ions into the room and atmosphere, his effect is reduced and positive particles naturally fall to ground. Surfaces in the immediate vicinity of the ionic air purifier often get covered in dust. This indicates two things: that the surfaces in one's surroundings have a detrimental positive charge, as well as the fact that the ioniser is working to restore this imbalance. This additional dust may need to be cleaned off surfaces regularly.
