Negative Ions Yield Positive Results

Negative Ion Therapy Provides Fresh Air and a Fresh Mind

Negative Ions Turn a Negative Into a Positive

Since the time we were children, our parents, teachers, and coaches have been telling us to “think positive”. Although, in general, this is a good idea that can get us through some tough times, negative ion therapy works from a different perspective. In this approach, an ionizer gives particles in the air a negative charge.  This, in turn, creates an attraction with other particles. This attraction forces them to bond to one another, creating a much larger mass.

So Why is This Such a Positive?

Now that the particles have banded together, you may be thinking, “Big deal.”  Truly this is a big deal because particles that were once minute are now much larger.  Through ionization, particles that were once invisible to the naked eye are now literally falling out of the sky because they are so big.  No longer airborne, they have been relegated to normal dirt status, resting on surfaces such as drapes, furniture, and floors.  These once invisible and seemingly invincible particles can now be cleaned like normal, everyday dirt.  Likewise, typical household cleaning methods are now effective at removing these intruders from you home.

Does it Really Work?

Air ionizers or ionic air purifiers, as they are commonly referred to, have been proven to be up to 95% efficient in providing clean air and surroundings.  Furthermore, ionic systems have been linked to dramatically reducing airborne infections in hospitals. Aside from the obviously effective manner in which ions clean the air, they also provide many health improvements. Negative ion therapy has been linked to improved breathing, sleep quality, and energy levels.  Ion therapy has even been linked to a decrease in mental health symptoms most often associated with depression. The next time someone tells you to think positive, go ahead and think negative…ions, that is.
